Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. walnuts
Preparation

Cream together shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with banana, blending well after each addition.
Stir in nuts. Pour into well-greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
Remove from pan.
Serve warm with butter or cool for later.
