Strawberry Fig Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 c. figs
5 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 small pkg. strawberry jello
1 pkg. Sure-Jell

Preparation

Prepare figs for cooking; chop.
Mix first 3 ingredients together and cook 20 minutes.
Add 3 boxes jello and cook for 2 minutes more.
Pour into sterile jars and seal.
