Cheddar-Bacon Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. extra sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded (about 2 1/2 c.)
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
    party rye bread slices
Preparation
    Cook bacon; drain on paper towels.
    Crumble and set aside. In blender at medium speed, or in food processor with knife blade attached, blend cheese and next 4 ingredients until smooth. Stir in crumbled bacon.
    Cover and refrigerate, if not serving right away.
    To serve, bring spread to room temperature to soften slightly.
    Serve with party rye bread.
