Master Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. flour
    2 1/2 c. powdered milk
    3/4 c. double-acting baking powder
    3 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 lb. Crisco
Preparation
    Stir baking powder, salt, cream of tartar and powdered milk into the unsifted flour; sift it all together.
    Cut shortening into mixture until it looks like corn meal.
    Place in tightly covered container and store at room temperature.
    This will keep for months.
