Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Wesson or Crisco oil
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c. chopped apples
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond
Preparation
    Mix Wesson oil, margarine and sugar.
    Mix well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Add these to the oil and sugar mixture.
    Add flavoring.
    This will be a thick mixture.
    Fold in apples, chopped fine (Winesap are better).
    Fold in nuts.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
