Sour Cream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
5 c. flour, sifted
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add sugar, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream. Mix well.
Sift flour with baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Add to cream mixture.
Chill.
Scoop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.
Frost with canned sour cream frosting.
