Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 c. milk or evaporated milk
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cut cabbage into small pieces; cover with water and cook for 10 minutes.
    Drain.
    Make a white sauce from the butter, flour, salt and pepper and milk.
    Stir constantly until thickened.
    In 10 x 10 x 2-inch casserole dish, layer the cabbage, sauce and cheese. Repeat twice.
    Dot with margarine.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
