Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    2 lb. round steak (1-inch thick)
    oil
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 medium green pepper, sliced
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (16 oz.) can whole, sliced or stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    Pound flour into meat well.
    Brown lightly the onion and green pepper; remove from electric skillet.
    Brown meat on both sides. Place onion and pepper on meat.
    Add tomato sauce and tomatoes. Cover and simmer for 2 to 3 hours or until tender.
    Add water as needed.
    Serve with rice and green salad.
