German Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. salad oil
    3 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 c. peeled and sliced apples
    1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Beat together until frothy oil and eggs.
    Add the sugar and vanilla and blend.
    Gradually add the flour, salt, soda and cinnamon; blend well.
    Fold in apples and nuts.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 45 to 50 minutes.
    Top with glaze immediately after removing from oven.
