Quick Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar, divided
    1 c. milk
    1 c. self-rising flour
    4 c. sliced fresh peaches or 1 large and 1 small can sliced peaches
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Combine flour, 1 cup sugar and milk.
    Mix well.
    Pour over melted butter; do not stir. Combine peaches and remaining 1 cup sugar.
    Bring to boil.
    While still hot, pour over batter; do not stir.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until browned.
