Candied Dill Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. dill pickles, drained and sliced
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Cook vinegar and sugar over moderate heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Place sliced pickles in syrup and cook until boiling. Add celery seed and stir.
    Cool, then store in jars in refrigerator until used up.
