Sweet And Sour Marinated Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    3 sticks cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. water
    3 or 4 (15 oz.) cans asparagus spears, drained
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine all ingredients except asparagus spears and bring to a boil.
    Place asparagus spears in a casserole and pour marinade over them.
    Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours.
    Drain asparagus and serve.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
