Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 apples
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Peel and quarter the apples.
    Heat the apples and water to boiling, then reduce heat.
    Simmer, uncovered, until apples are tender (5 to 10 minutes).
    Stir in the other ingredients.
    Make sure the apples are broken or mashed into smaller pieces.
    Heat to boiling.
    Boil and stir one minute.
    Let cool.
    Serve topped with cinnamon.
