Poppy Seed Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    4 eggs, separated
    1/3 c. poppy seed
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sour cream
    2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add beaten egg yolks and poppy seed. Dissolve soda in sour cream.
    Add alternately with flour.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0 in ungreased 10-inch tube pan.
    When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
