Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chuck or bottom round steak, 1 1/2 inches thick
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil or fat
    2 medium onions, sliced
    2 green peppers, sliced
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and pepper.
    Pound this into meat.
    Cut into small pieces.
    Brown in fat or oil.
    Place other ingredients on meat.
    Cover with lid.
    Simmer on stove slowly.
    Stir occasionally.
    Do not let boil dry.
    Cook at least an hour.
