Strawberry Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

2 1/4 c. broken pretzels
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
2 c. boiling pineapple juice
2 small pkg. frozen strawberries
1 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 large Cool Whip
Preparation

Mix pretzels and butter. Put in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Cool. Dissolve jello in boiling juice; add fruit. Let set until it begins to gel. Mix sugar with cheese. Add the whipped topping. Pour cheese mixture over pretzels. When set, pour jello over this.
