Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef cubes
    3 carrots
    3 potatoes
    1 c. onions
    1 c. celery
    salt
    pepper
    16 oz. canned tomatoes
Preparation
    Put meat in bottom of roaster.
    Add potatoes, carrots, onions and celery (cut in chunks).
    Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour tomatoes over all.
    Cover; cook in 250\u00b0 oven.
    Do not open lid for 4 hours.
