Pineapple Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pineapple juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. crushed pineapple
    1 can sliced or cubed beets
Preparation
    Mix
    pineapple\tjuice,\tsugar and vinegar.
    Slowly stir this mixture
    in
    the
    top part of a double boiler with cornstarch. Cook
    until
    thickened
    and
    clear, stirring often to prevent lumping.
    Add margarine and crushed pineapple.
    Drain beets, slice or cube and add to mixture.
