Mincemeat Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. mincemeat
    2 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Beat sugar, shortening and eggs together thoroughly.
    Stir in milk and mincemeat.
    Sift together flour, salt and baking powder then add to mincemeat mixture.
    Stir
    in walnuts.
    Use well greased 9 x 5 inch pan.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
    Cool on rack.
    When cool wrap in foil and store in refrigerator.
