Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
5 eggs (3 separated)
1 pkg. coconut
Preparation

Beat sugar and butter; mix well.
Add flour mixture, baking powder and salt to butter and sugar.
Add milk and mix well.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add flavor. Pour into greased and floured pan.
Cook on 375\u00b0 until brown.
Let cool and frost.
