Sweetheart Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 pkg. strawberry powdered drink mix
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 (10 oz.) bottle ginger ale
    1 pt. pineapple sherbet
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water.
    Dissolve drink mix and sugar in 2 quarts of cold water.
    Stir well.
    Add pineapple juice to gelatin mixture.
    Mix well.
    Refrigerate until serving time.
    Add ginger ale and sherbet just before serving.
    Yields 35 servings.
