Light Bread Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    1 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. flour (total 7 to 8 c.)
    3 c. lukewarm potato water
Preparation
    Put together in order given, beat until smooth.
    Let set until light and foamy.
    Work in enough flour so it can be handled and kneaded.
    Let rise, work down, pinch off what you need. (Keep the rest in refrigerator until needed.) Shape into any shape of roll you want.
    Put in a greased pan, let rise until double in size (about 1 hour).
    Bake at 400\u00b0.
    Can be frozen.
