Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 well beaten eggs
    1 Tbsp. milk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar together; beat until light and fluffy.
    Add the eggs and milk; beat well.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together; add to mixture.
    Shape into mound; wrap in waxed paper and chill thoroughly.
    Roll on board lightly floured with confectioners sugar, until dough is about 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut cookies, then place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 8 minutes.
