Pepper Steak And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    steak cut into strips
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 large peppers cut into thin strips
    2 15 oz. cans stewed or whole tomatoes
    1 box of instant rice
Preparation
    Brown beef strips slowly in 1 tsp. oil or shortening.
    Add garlic salt, pepper and soy sauce.
    Cook 3 to 4 minutes more.
    Add green peppers and onion.
    Cook 5 to 10 minutes until green peppers are tender.
    Add a little water if needed.
    Keep covered, then add tomatoes.
    Stirring uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes more, or until thick and rich.
    Serve over rice.
