Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. quick oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 to 1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Beat butter, sugars, egg, milk and vanilla in bowl until blended.
Stir in flour, soda and salt alternately with oil until mixture is thoroughly mixed.
Stir in oats, chocolate chips and walnuts.
