Freezer Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 carrot, grated
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. whole celery seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. whole mustard seed
Preparation
    Shred cabbage; mix with salt and let stand 1 hour.
    Add carrot and green pepper.
    Combine vinegar, water, sugar, mustard seed and celery seed; boil 1 minute.
    Cool to lukewarm; pour over slaw. Put into containers and freeze.
    Slaw will thaw in a short time. Can be refrozen.
