Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    2/3 c. cornmeal
    2 tsp. butter
    2 egg yolks
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over cornmeal.
    Stir and let cool.
    Add butter and egg yolks.
    Stir until thoroughly blended.
    Stir in buttermilk.
    Combine salt, sugar, baking powder and soda.
    Add to cornmeal mixture.
    Beat egg whites to soft peaks.
    Fold into cornmeal mixture.
    Pour into greased 1-quart baking dish.
    Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until set at 350\u00b0.
