Owens Sausage Deep Fried Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chicken broth
    1 c. quick grits (5 minutes)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 pat margarine
    1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
    2 green onions, chopped
    1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. Owens sausage, browned and drained
    flour to dredge sticks before frying
Preparation
    Bring broth to a boil in large saucepan; add salt and grits. Return to a boil, reduce heat and continue to cook for 5 minutes. In another pan, saute onion and bell pepper in margarine until onion is transparent; set aside.
    Add cheese to grits until all cheese is melted and incorporated.
    Add remaining ingredients. Stir to mix.
