Pineapple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, separated
1 baked 8 or 9-inch pie shell
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (No. 2) can pineapple (crushed or chunk)
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt; add pineapple.
Cook until clear and thickened.
Add beaten yolks.
Cook 1 minute.
Cool. Add lemon juice.
Pour into baked shell.
Top with meringue made by folding 4 tablespoons sugar into stiffly beaten egg whites. Brown in a 325\u00b0 oven.
