Corn And Spinach Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk *
    3 large eggs
    1 (11 oz.) can vacuum-packed white corn, drained
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 c.)
Preparation
    About 45 minutes before serving or early in day:
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    In large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
    With pastry blender or two knives used scissor-fashion, cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
