Ambrosia - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large oranges
    2 medium bananas
    1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    1/4 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    Peel oranges; remove white membrane.
    Cut oranges into 1/8-inch thick slices.
    Peel bananas.
    Cut on the diagonal into 1/8-inch slices.
    Drain pineapple; reserve liquid.
    In serving bowl, layer 1/2 of orange slices; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon confectioners sugar,
    Layer 1/2 of banana slices and 1/2 of pineapple.
    Sprinkle with half of coconut.
    Repeat layering fruit and sugar.
    Pour pineapple liquid over fruit.
    Sprinkle remaining coconut.
    Chill several hours.
    Makes 5 or 6 servings.
