Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    1/4 c. chopped fine onions
    1/4 c. chopped fine green pepper
    3 c. cooked rice, rinsed and drained
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped fine
    1 1/2 tsp. salt or to desired taste
    black pepper to desired taste
Preparation
    Cook bacon in skillet until crisp.
    Remove, drain, cool, then crumble.
    Pour out all grease drippings, reserve 2 teaspoons in the skillet.
    Add onions and pepper; cook until tender.
    Add the other ingredients and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
    You can use your own canned tomatoes, if you have them.
