Nellie'S Favorite Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. cocoa
2/3 c. hot water
2/3 c. melted butter

Preparation

Mix together sugar and eggs.
Add vanilla and sour cream.
Mix together flour, baking soda and salt; add to mixture.
Last, add cocoa, hot water and butter.
Pour into greased and floured 8-inch pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Makes 2 layers.
Very moist.
