60 Minute Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cakes yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 1/2 c. hot milk
    8 c. sifted flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
Preparation
    Put 1 tablespoon sugar in 1/4 cup lukewarm water and crumble in yeast.
    Cream shortening and sugar; add milk.
    Let cool and add 2 beaten eggs and yeast, then 4 cups sifted flour.
    Add salt and 4 more cups of flour.
