Popovers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. melted shortening or oil
Preparation

Beat eggs and add milk, shortening and dry ingredients in a blender.
Beat until smooth.
Fill greased muffin pans 1/2 full and bake in preheated oven at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake 10 minutes longer or until golden brown.
Serve with butter and jam or jelly.
