Beef And Biscuits Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    8 oz. mild Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown beef and onions; drain excess grease.
    Add salt and pepper and chili powder.
    In large mixing bowl, combine egg, tomato sauce, sour cream and all but 1/4 cup cheese; add beef mixture.
    In glass baking dish, put 1/2 split biscuits on bottom; pour in beef-cheese mixture, cover with remaining biscuits.
    Bake 30 minutes, adding remaining cheese during last ten minutes.
