Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Cream shortening; gradually beat in sugar and eggs.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Chill dough, then form into 1-inch balls.
    Roll into mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten them with a fork.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
