Edith'S Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sweet milk
    6 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Pour over beaten yolks.
    Mix in sugar and flour; boil until thick.
    Strain cold whipping cream.
    Add to custard. Add vanilla.
    Stir and serve chilled.
