Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. shortening
3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in water.
Cut shortening into dry ingredients (like pie crust).
Add yeast and buttermilk and beat until smooth. Cover and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
Roll dough 1/2 inch thick, cut with biscuit cutter.
