Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. mashed bananas (you may add a Tbsp. lemon juice to bananas)
Preparation

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat shortening until creamy in mixing bowl.
Add sugar gradually to shortening and continue beating until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and beat well. Add flour mixture alternately with bananas using small amount each time.
Turn into greased loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Nuts can be added (about 1/2 cup) to egg mixture.
