Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. pkg. strawberry gelatin
    red food coloring
    2 cooled baked pie shells
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 c. 7-Up cola
    6 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, cola, water and syrup.
    Cook until mixture thickens.
    Remove from heat.
    Add gelatin and food coloring as desired.
    Let cool.
    Place berries in crusts and pour cooled sauce over top.
    Refrigerate until completely cooled. Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
