Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. vermicelli
    1 c. long grain rice
    2 cans chicken broth (14 fluid oz. size)
    1 Knorr chicken bouillon
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter in 3-quart size pot.
    Add vermicelli (crushed into 3/4-inch size) and brown, stirring constantly, until near burning point.
    Add rice; stir.
    Add chicken broth, chicken bouillon, salt and pepper.
    Stir well.
    Cover and cook until all broth has been absorbed.
    Stir occasionally.
    Cook over low heat, about 20 minutes.
    Turn heat off and let sit about 10 minutes.
    Serves 6. Good with chicken or fish.
