Carrots And Sugar Snap Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium carrots, scraped and cut into 2-inch strips
    1/3 c. water
    2 c. sugar snap peas, with strings removed but not shelled
    2 Tbsp. reduced-calorie margarine or olive oil
    1/2 tsp. salt or salt substitute
Preparation
    Combine carrots and water in a 2 1/2-quart glass baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap, leaving one corner loose for steam to escape, or cover with glass cover.
    Microwave on High for 5 minutes, stirring after three minutes.
    Stir in peas and seasonings.
    Microwave on High 2 minutes.
    Let stand 1 minute, covered.
    Stir and serve.
    Toss with fresh mint, if desired.
