Fresh Apple Cake 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. salad oil
    2 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. grated apples
    2 c. chopped nuts
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
    3 to 4 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Combine the sugar, oil and eggs in a bowl and mix well.
    Sift flour with soda and salt; stir into the sugar mixture.
    Add apples and 1 cup nuts; beat well.
    Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes; cool.
    Soften the cream cheese into a bowl.
    Add margarine and cream well.
    Add vanilla.
    Add powdered sugar alternately with milk and stir in remaining nuts.
    Spread between layers and over top and sides of cake.
