Veg Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 pkg. dried smoked beef
    2 qt. tomatoes
    2 large cans tomato juice
    2 (16 oz.) cans whole grain corn
    2 (16 oz.) cans peas
    2 (16 oz.) cans green beans
    1 (16 oz.) can carrots
    3 cans beef broth
    4 medium onions, diced
    6 medium potatoes, diced
Preparation
    Drain most of juice from tomatoes and empty into a 2 gallon pot.
    Add corn, peas, green beans and carrots.
    Add chopped onions and potatoes.
    Add broth or bouillon.
    Cut up the 3 packages of dried beef and add some of the tomato juice.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Adjust heat to a slow steady simmer, stirring often to keep from burning.
    As mixture cooks down, keep adding tomato juice.
    Cook for approximately 2 1/2 hours.
