Holiday Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted and cooled
    2 large eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Let stand until foamy, 5 to 10 minutes.
    Stir butter, eggs and salt into yeast mixture.
    Stir in flour.
    Beat flour mixture at medium speed until a crumbly dough forms.
    Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, 5 to 10 minutes.
    Place dough in a large greased bowl, turning to coat.
    Cover loosely with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled, about 1 1/2 hours.
