Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 stick butter
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. lemon
Preparation
    Cream shortening and butter.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well after each addition.
    Sift flour with salt and baking powder.
    Add to mixture in thirds, alternating with milk.
    Turn into 10-inch tube cake pan which has been greased and floured.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
