Oatmeal Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed banana
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. quick oatmeal
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar well.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
Add banana and mix well. Sift flour, soda and salt.
Add with oatmeal to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and flavoring.
Pour batter into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
