Fresno Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. thin skinned potatoes
    4 slices bacon
    4 green onions
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. Cheddar cheese
    3/4 c. seasoned croutons
    3 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place potatoes in 3-quart pan; cover with water.
    Boil; cook covered for 20 minutes.
    Drain, cool and cut into 1/4-inch thick slices.
    In greased shallow 2-quart casserole, arrange 1/2 potatoes and top with 1/2 bacon and onion.
    Stir milk into sour cream, spread 1/2 mixture over onion, then 1/2 cheese; season. Repeat layers.
    Sprinkle with crushed croutons.
    Drizzle with butter all over.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
