White Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large Cool Whip
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    8 oz. soft cream cheese
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    cherries (optional)
Preparation
    Mix cream cheese and sugar.
    Add pineapple and stir.
    Fold in Cool Whip and nuts.
    Pour into a dish; chill 2 hours.
    May be topped with cherries to add color.
